Starting the day with an Islamic good morning dua brings peace to the heart and barakah to the entire day. In Islam, mornings are a special time for remembrance (dhikr), gratitude, and seeking Allah’s protection before beginning daily responsibilities.
Although there is no specific phrase called “Islamic good morning dua” in the Sunnah, the Prophet ﷺ taught several authentic morning supplications (adhkar) that Muslims are encouraged to recite after Fajr and throughout the morning. These duas serve as the true Islamic way to begin the day.
Reflecting on Allah quotes in English about mercy and guidance can also strengthen faith as we begin a new day.
Below are authentic Sunnah-based morning duas, followed by short Islamic good morning prayers suitable for sharing.
